As a parent it's great to see my child progress and develop a passion for something that gets him moving, doesn’t involve staring a a screen, and something that he throughly enjoys and encourages his creativity. Rowan really enjoys his lessons and has said if his piano teacher was as good as you he'd have kept going with that! I've noticed a 'jump' in his progress over the past couple of weeks and he's picking up the sticks more often and seems to be starting to put what he's learnt into longer pieces. At the same time he’s learning and gaining a deeper understanding of rhythm and music construction as well as timing and the importance of teamwork from a great tutor, it’s his favourite lesson of the week!

Skylar (7 years old) really enjoys Robert's drumming lessons, she says they are so fun and doesn't want them to finish because she wants to keep playing. She enjoys playing to a song at the end of the lesson. Since starting drum lessons with you, Skylar has been more enthusiastic about drumming and music. She will often listen to a song and explain to me the different drums that she thinks are being used which I find impressive!

“Robert’s step-by-step teaching really helps me. What I like is that he normally does rhymes that help me, like ‘biscuit, biscuit’. My favourite thing about playing the drums is learning new beats. I really enjoy playing the drums and practice as often as I can."

I am having fun and exciting lessons, I really enjoy drumming! Rob makes the lesson fun and we learn different songs and notes. Rob helps me use the new kick pedal and helps me if I get something wrong. I love the lessons so much and I am going to keep going!
